1:1 Meetings

The 1:1 booking system is now open for those who have selected 1:1 meetings upon registration.  This allows you to search the profiles of other participants and invite them to 1:1 meetings.   If you would like assistance in finding delegates with expertise relevant to your product, process or business, Amy Adams amy.adams@ed.ac.uk 0131 6517771 is available to advise.

The 1:1 meetings (each 15 minutes long) will be held between 2pm and 3.30pm and will overlap a poster session between 2pm and 4pm.  Please be reassured that after much active discussion we will re-energize you by providing tea/coffee and cake at 3.30 pm!

Log in to use this online tool to set up meetings and manage your schedule. If you have forgotten your password, click here to reset.

Step One: Update your profile

To make the most of this opportunity and meet the right people for you, take the time to ensure your profile is complete and clearly state what expertise, products etc. you offer and what you are looking for.

Log in and click Account to update your company details. These can include a brief profile, a logo and a personal portrait (.jpg or .png, max filesize 1Mb). Change your password here if required. By providing a full profile you maximise your chances of a response to your meeting request, and of receiving appropriate meeting invitations when the booking system is launched on 1st September 2013.

Step Two: Check your Schedule
Go to Schedule to manage your availability. Click 'Change' against the times you wish to be unavailable for meetings. It is important that you do this so as to avoid receiving meeting requests for inconvenient times. You can also print your schedule directly from this page using the 'Print' link.

Step Three: Set up Meetings

1. Click Search in the menubar to view and search company listings. You can use the search tool on the left of the page to refine your selection, or order by date of entry using the selection tool above the listing. The search is hierarchical, so the second category you select will be a subset of the first. If you then wish to start a new search, please click Reset on the Search tool before starting again.
2. Click 'Book Meeting' on your chosen participant's entry. Next, click a green square on the booking grid at the date and time you wish to meet. The green blocks indicate meeting times when you are both available. You can include your colleagues in the meeting if they are available.

The online system sends an email to you and your meeting partner every time you request, confirm or cancel a meeting and you will also receive email requests from other participants. To view and respond to your pending meetings, return to the homepage when you have logged in, or select 'pending meetings' on your Schedule page.
